The  Rehabilitation Institute , the hospital features 184 licensed acute care beds as well as  inpatient and outpatient surgery , an  Advanced Primary Stroke Center ,  cardiac services featuring a STEMI Receiving Center (heart attack) and a 35-bed 24-hour  emergency department . Essential Job Duties:

Prepares, stores, and issues sterile and non-sterile supplies and equipment to hospital divisions and assists in maintaining and effective level of level infection control. Also cleans and prepares all OR instrumentation for sterilization.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, patients, and the general public.
• Ability to performance basic math.
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical/clinical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
• Previous experience and/or training in Central Supply/Operating Room preferred but will train.
• General education level.
• CSSM preferred. If not currently certified, must start taking classes within 45 days of hire toward certification. BLS certification.
• CPI is required within 30 days of hire.
