Job Title: SQL Server Database Administrator(US Citizens Only)

Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification

Responsibilities:

• Install configure and upgrade SQL Server instances across development test and production environments.
• Monitor database performance implement changes and apply new patches and versions.
• Perform regular database backups restores and disaster recovery operations.
• Monitor database health optimize performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Design implement and maintain database schemas tables and indexes to improve query performance.
• Optimize database queries and stored procedures for performance and efficiency.
• Implement database security and encryption mechanisms to ensure data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
• Monitor and manage user access permissions and roles.
• Provide support for databaserelated incidents issues and outages.
• Collaborate with developers system administrators and business stakeholders to resolve databaserelated problems.
• Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks and monitoring database systems.
• Implement database monitoring solutions to proactively identify and address issues.
• Maintain uptodate documentation for database configurations processes and procedures.
• Work closely with application teams to understand database requirements and provide appropriate solutions.
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience as a SQL Server DBA with expertise in SQL Server
• Strong knowledge of TSQL performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Experience with highavailability solutions (e.g. Always On Availability Groups clustering replication).
• Proficient in backup recovery and disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Experience in SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) SQL Profiler and other database tools.
• Handson experience with database monitoring tools such as SolarWinds DPA or Redgate.
• Understanding of indexing partitioning and data archiving strategies.
• Federal Experience is a plus.
• Required Security clearance.
