Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, plan, and execute large-scale IT projects, including infrastructure upgrades, software implementations, network installations, and other technology initiatives.
- Collaborate with business leaders, technical teams, and external vendors to define project requirements, set expectations, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop comprehensive project plans that include scope, timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies. Ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets.
- Proactively identify potential risks and issues, develop mitigation strategies, and resolve project challenges to keep initiatives on track.
- Manage cross-functional teams consisting of developers, engineers, analysts, and other IT professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
- Oversee project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure resources are effectively allocated to meet project goals.
- Ensure that IT solutions meet defined business requirements and quality standards, conducting regular testing and validation before deployment.
- Maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, risk logs, and issue trackers. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and executive leadership.
- Continuously assess and improve project management processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring that deliverables are met on time and within budget.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience in IT project management, with a focus on large-scale IT projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from initiation through to delivery, including managing scope, timeline, and budgets.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development, and systems integration.
- Solid knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, etc.).
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello, Asana).
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to handle complex IT challenges.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party contractors.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to maintain focus in a fast-paced environment.
- PMP (Project Management Professional) or similar certifications preferred.
- Experience with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and IT service management (ITIL) is a plus.
- Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
- Certification in Agile or Scrum methodologies (e.g., CSM, PMI-ACP).
- Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure modernization, or enterprise system integrations.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
