Our client, a Medical Center facility under the aegis of a California Public Ivy university and one of largest health delivery systems in California, seeks an accomplished Salesforce Developer/Admin.

Position: Salesforce Developer/Admin (Job Id - # 262611)

Location: San Francisco CA 94104 (LARGELY REMOTE - Hybrid Once a quarter for any meetings)

Duration: 6 Months + Strong Possibility of Extension

Description:

  • Looking for Salesforce Developer / Administrator to develop a salesforce solution using Service and Experience Cloud with NoCode, APeX, Aura, LWC, Flows, Visualforce, Email-To-Case etc.
  • Involved in the development of server / OS / desktop / mobile applications and services including researching, designing, developing specifications for designing, writing, modifying, testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and maintaining source code.
  • Also having direct or related involvement in designing related databases, user interfaces, integration to other systems / applications, content, or multimedia processes.
  • Work includes analysis and design to post-production processes, quality assurance, maintenance, and documentation.
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, designing, and developing Salesforce solutions.
  • This position supports strategic initiatives to improve the customer experience in the development and administration of systems and tools on the Salesforce platform.
  • The Developer applies skills as a seasoned, experienced technologist with a full understanding of industry practices, community standards, and relevant policies and procedures to medium sized projects or portions of large projects with moderate scope and complexity.
  • The Developer resolves a wide range of issues and demonstrates competency in selecting tools, methods, and techniques to obtain results.
  • 60% - designs, develops, modifies, and deploys complex solutions using Salesforce platform declarative features (point-and-click) and programmatic development (Apex, LWC, Visualforce). Works closely with the Product Owner and IT Architect to develop solutions to meet business requirements. Analyzes existing functionality or works to formulate logic for new complex systems and devises complex algorithms. Applies moderately complex programming security practices.
  • 10% - develops and executes moderately complex test plans, prepare salesforce test classes and system implementation plans. Performs complex data modeling, performance, and integration testing, and builds interfaces for a variety of internal and external constituents.
  • 10% - coordinate with technical support team, coordinate UAT and prepare deploy configure the monthly sprint changes. Debugs troubleshoot production support issues on priority.
  • 10% - perform data transformations and cleansing as needed. Import and export data using Data Loader or other tools.
  • 10% - gathers, analyzes, and prepares a variety of documentation and user stories to support application maintenance, user training, and change/configuration management. Collaborates with stakeholders and team members on the creation and review of technical specifications. Provide regular project reports to stakeholders and internal team members. Contribute to service management delivery through timely updates of incident, enhancement, and change request tickets.

Qualifications:

  • Any Salesforce Certification: Salesforce Developer preferred. Salesforce Advance Administrator, Platform Application Builder, Platform Developer Preferred.
  • 5 years of experience working as a Salesforce Developer/Administrator.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, processes, products, and best practices.
  • Administration and development on Core Platform, Service Cloud and Experience Cloud, including experience building robust lightning app solutions for service console, including flow/screen, actions & recommendations.
  • Project management experience in working closely with project managers and team leads on large and complex projects.
  • 5 years of experience working with Apex Classes, Apex triggers, Batch Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visual Force (VF Pages), Integration (REST, SOAP, bulk, streaming API, Change Data Capture, Platform Events), Force.com API, SOQL and SOSL.
  • Development with CSS, HTML, XML, JavaScript, JQuery, SQL, and any other programming language.
  • Advanced skills associated with software design, modification, implementation, and deployment, including object-oriented programming concepts. Intermediate knowledge of secure software development.
  • Ability to create and document business requirements, use cases, and test cases, interacting with stakeholders, business users/analysts, partners, and vendor teams.
  • Thorough experience with common programming tools. Demonstrated ability to follow software specifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Salesforce Integration Solutions such as MuleSoft, Connected App/Salesforce Connect, Heroku.
  • Experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
  • Ability to engage in performance / integration testing, business and technical analysis, data analysis and data modeling.
  • Demonstrated testing and test planning skills. Experience with planning for deployment and creation of feedback mechanisms.
