About the Job The Process Pre-Commissioning & Commissioning (PC&C) Engineer reports and supports to the PC&C Manager assigned to the Project.
The Process PC&C Engineer assists the Commissioning Team in defining and fulfilling the requirements to ensure plant facilities are pre-commissioned, commissioned and started-up safely and efficiently per project schedule.
The Process PC&C Engineer is responsible for the execution of PC&C activities (at HO & at Site), input into systemization and system planning as required and providing direction and/or validation of pre-commissioning assignments and commissioning and start-up tasks.
Duties include organize and execute all commissioning activities within responsible systems:
- Provide input into systemization of the plant.
- Prepare pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures as required.
- Create all commissioning documentation and check sheets for assigned systems.
- Prepare and deliver training packages, as required.
- Carry out all client requested commission and start-up activities safely and to schedule.
- Assess activities related to the commissioning systems allocated. Present justified training requirements for PC&C Manager approval.
- Assist, as required, in the design and checkout of computer control systems, interlocks and shut-down systems.
- Assist with agreement and clarification of the definitions of pre-commissioning/ commissioning other related items.
- Develop, with the Project Manager, a strategy for organizing the pre-commissioning /commissioning and all other test,
- Work with the sub-contractor to plan issues of procedures/plans/method statements and other documents required for execution of the project pre-commissioning and commissioning preparatory phases.
- Monitor the progress of document production by Company and the sub-contractor, in particular, the identification and definition of systems required for pre-commissioning priorities.
- Provide support with procedures or other documentation required.
- Assist in transfer of project emphasis to system priorities in a timely manner.
- Active participant in review meetings, as required, i.e. HAZOP, P&ID reviews, and Model reviews.

About You Wed love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:
Mandatory: - Good communication skills, interfacing with clients and contractors,
- Support the client on unit optimization, commissioning and startup,
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Chemical (Process) Engineering with:
- Minimum of (2) years of experience in project/field services,
- Minimum of (3) years of experience in plant operation,
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS Project, MS PowerPoint,
