Holiday Inn Express & Suites Manteca City Center is seeking a Weekend Front Desk Agent to join our team of professionals in an established hotel property. Our Front Desk Agents are responsible for making the first impression and setting a standard of excellence for our customers. This is a great opportunity for someone who needs a parttime weekend job a peopleperson who enjoys connecting with our customers and possesses exceptional communication and customer service skills . The hours for this position are 2:00 PM10:00 PM on Saturday & Sunday with opportunity for advancement.

Job Responsibilities:

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and an efficient checkin/checkout process
• Assist guests with reservations inquiries and any issues that may arise
• Maintain a clean and professional front desk area
• Light housekeeping tasks
• Meeting room setup
• Basic administrative tasks
• Work as a team and communicate and coordinate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service
• Receive guest payments and process transactions as outlined in the cash and charge procedures as needed
• May assist with other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• At least 21 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior hospitality experience is a plus
• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Detailoriented and organized with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passionate about people and service
• Ability to pleasantly and professionally communicate when interacting with guests and employees
• Ability to work late afternoon/evening shifts on weekends

Skills Proven experience as a Night Auditor or in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry Experience with accounting and facilities management software Excellent math skills An eye for detail Good problem-solving skills Strong customer service skills The ability to multitask Strong written and verbal communication skills Availability to work overnight BSc in accounting, finance or relevant field
