Job Summary:
We are seeking an Entry-Level Remote IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and support for our construction company's software, systems, and hardware. As an Entry-Level Remote IT Support Specialist, you will assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity for our construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide remote technical support for construction software, systems, and hardware under supervision
· Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues via phone, email, and remote desktop connections
· Learn and assist with software installations, updates, and configurations
· Assist in managing and maintaining company-wide IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases
· Assist in ensuring data security, backup, and disaster recovery processes are in place
· Collaborate with construction teams to understand IT needs and implement solutions
· Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base
· Stay up-to-date with industry-specific software and technologies
Requirements:
· 0-2 years of experience in IT support or a related field
· Basic knowledge of construction industry software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Autodesk)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems
· Familiarity with remote desktop connections and help desk software
· Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
· Reliable internet connection and dedicated workspace
Preferred Qualifications:
· Certification in IT support or a related field (e.g., CompTIA A+, HDI)
· Familiarity with cloud-based systems and SaaS applications
· Knowledge of network administration and cybersecurity principles
· Familiarity with construction industry regulations and compliance
