Job Summary Description
This position provides Supply Chain support to our Corp. Digital & Information Technology (D&IT) organization and North American Business Units (L48, Alaska and Canada), for IT/Operational Technology (OT) hardware/software requirements as well as related professional/consulting services and/or managed service programs. You will proactively support IT/OT-related capability streams, managing your clients' respective projects, suppliers, and contracts.
Job Description Your responsibilities may include: - Proactively engages clients to understand and align on future programs & plans
- Lead all aspects clients' contracts portfolio, ensuring alignment with clients' requirements, such as annual renewals, contract renegotiations, license optimization & compliance, service level agreements and post-award contract management plans
- Identifies unique sourcing strategies
- Conduct supplier & market research
- Conduct and evaluate detailed spend analytics and conducts reviews of supplier / product capabilities
- Identifies supplier / product convergence and/or leveraging opportunities
- Leads RFx events, collaborate with clients on bid evaluations, and/or designs and executes direct negotiations with selected suppliers
- Negotiates solid contractual and commercial terms and conditions
- Develop non-traditional commercial structures that drive pay for use / performance outcomes
- Understands and adheres to Corp. Supply Chain standard (policy)
- Maintain contracts portfolio and conducts all sourcing events in SMART (GEP) P2P tool
- Strategic Sourcing and Contracts/Category Management expertise
- Technical Sourcing & Contracting competencies in:
- Hardware, networking, on-prem software, Cloud / SaaS (Software as a Service), including PaaS / IaaS (Platform / Infrastructure as a Service)
- Lean-agile contracting methodologies, as it relates to software implementation and the solution integrators
- Large, complex IT/OT software contracts
- Migrating internal IT/OT support to Manage Service Providers (MSPs)
- Engages with Legal and respective Core-Clause owners to deliver favorable contractual terms & conditions
- Proactively handles Corp. D&IT and North American Business Units (clients) suppliers and contracts. Efficiently responds to client requests.
- Actively collaborates, aligns, and drives business value opportunities with clients.
- Conducts key supplier analysis and/or market analysis and raises concerns / opportunities with clients and/or Supply Chain management.
- Identifies, develops, and executes unique sourcing strategies, including RFx events, bid evaluations, supplier / contract negotiations, and post-award contract management.
- Develops and/or negotiates robust commercial pricing models (scopes and call-off orders) to control costs and deliver quality products and services.
Basic/Required: - Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis for anyone other than current employer
- Bachelor's Degree or higher with a Business, Engineering, related field, or foreign equivalent
- 5 or more years of experience in Supply Chain, Information Technology/Industrial Process Automation, or a related field
- Willing and able (with or without reasonable accommodations) to travel 15% of the time on a yearly basis
Preferred: - 1 or more years of experience with Contract Management / R2P Systems (i.e. SMART, SAP, etc.) and complete Microsoft Office 365 suite (including Power BI)
