Job Title: General Manager – Brewery (Salary + Tips)

We are looking for a passionate and experienced General Manager to lead our brewery operations and ensure our guests have an unforgettable experience.

Position Overview:
The General Manager will oversee all aspects of the brewery's day-to-day operations, including managing staff, ensuring high-quality customer service, and maintaining the integrity of our beer production. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and beverage industry, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for craft beer. This is a full-time, salaried position with the opportunity to earn additional income through tips.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Manage, mentor, and inspire the brewery staff to provide excellent service and create a positive work environment.
  • Operations Management: Oversee daily operations, including scheduling, inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Customer Experience: Ensure that every guest has a memorable experience by maintaining high standards of service and addressing customer feedback promptly.
  • Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement strategies to increase brewery traffic and sales.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, control costs, and optimize profitability while maintaining product and service quality.
  • Event Planning: Organize and manage events, including beer tastings, tours, and special promotions to enhance the brewery’s brand presence.
  • Quality Control: Work closely with the brewing team to ensure all products meet Grand Canyon Brewing Company’s high standards.
  • Community Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with the local community and represent the brewery at local events and industry functions.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar role within the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong knowledge of craft beer, brewing processes, and the craft beer industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of financial principles and experience managing budgets.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Passion for the craft beer industry and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.
