Job Description:

As the Garage Operations Associate, you will be aiding with the daily workflow of the garage, ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department, and maintaining accurate part usage records. You will be enforcing the proper protocol for the asset maintenance needed or in progress and the use of our inventory.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Inventory Maintenance: Keeping accurate inventory records, ordering parts as needed, and ensuring the proper storage and organization of parts.
• Part Usage: By using computer systems, document and track daily parts used and in need of order.
• Order Processing: Receive and check accuracy of incoming parts orders and handle returns or exchanges if necessary.
• Coordination: Working closely with our mechanics to ensure timely and accurate parts supply. Responsible for any coordination and delegation of work orders needed in the afternoon.
• Maintenance Requests: Organizing and neatly storing the daily pre/post trip inspection slips from our drivers and recording any maintenance requests.
• Clean Work Space: Keeping the garage office and parts rooms organized and tidy throughout your shift.
• Daily report: Leaving a brief summary of any important things that happened in the evening. Work orders and part orders made, items returned or any issues that were run into can be included.

Hours:

• Part time to full time work day would start around Noon and end around 5 PM.
