What You'll Be Doing:
As our Financial Analyst II, you'll be responsible for:
Healthcare Utilization Reporting: Preparing standard and ad-hoc reports, including Rate Development Template reports, Prop56 & GEMT analysis, and pharmacy reports.
Data Analysis & Reconciliation: Analyzing and reconciling financial healthcare data from various sources.
SQL Query Development: Using SQL Server tables to develop analytical reports and interpret results.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Acting as a liaison with IT and Healthcare Informatics to translate requirements into technical applications.
Quality Assurance: Performing quality assurance and peer review on financial data analysis reports.
Budget Analysis: Supporting departmental projects, including budget analysis and trend research.
What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and analytical individual who:
Has a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
Has a minimum of three (3) years of financial or data analysis experience in a healthcare setting.
Possesses moderate skill in SQL and Access (or equivalent database) data manipulation.
Has strong knowledge and experience using Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
Is skilled in documenting database queries and macros.
Is able to cross-train and back up other areas of the department.
