### Role Overview

We are looking for experienced professionals in fasteners and hardware for a part-time, remote contractor position as an Industrial Hardware Identification Specialist. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in counter or inside sales at fastener stores and excel at interpreting hardware descriptions. This role offers the flexibility to work from home while utilizing your extensive hardware knowledge to accurately categorize components through our advanced online platform.

### Key Responsibilities

- Interpret and analyze descriptions of industrial hardware parts using our proprietary platform.
- Accurately categorize fasteners, nuts, bolts, and other hardware based on written specifications.
- Apply industry expertise to resolve ambiguities in product descriptions.
- Maintain high standards of accuracy and consistency in data entry.
- Contribute insights to enhance our identification algorithms.

### Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years of experience in counter sales or inside sales at fastener or industrial hardware retailers or distributors.
- Strong ability to interpret and understand technical descriptions of industrial hardware components.
- Comprehensive knowledge of industrial hardware terminology and products.
- Proven experience in matching customer requests or order descriptions to actual products.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software platforms.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote setting.
- Excellent communication skills.

### Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with industrial cataloging or parts identification systems.
- Familiarity with technical drawings or specifications of hardware components.
