Title: Copywriter/Copy Editor

Description
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Copywriter/Copy Editor to produce and refine compelling content for our marketing efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in writing and editing, with experience in the commercial insurance sector strongly preferred. You will play a key role in ensuring that the client's content is clear, persuasive and aligned with our brand voice.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Creation: Write engaging and informative copy for various marketing materials, including website content, blog posts, email campaigns, social media, brochures, and whitepapers.
Editing and Proofreading: Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency. Correct grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors.
Industry Expertise: Utilize knowledge of the commercial insurance industry to create relevant and insightful content that resonates with our target audience.
Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, product managers and subject matter experts to develop content that supports our marketing strategies and business goals.
Research: Conduct research to stay up-to-date with industry trends and incorporate relevant information into content.
Brand Voice and Standards: Understand the client's brand voice and uphold the client's brand standards across all communications.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional copywriting and editing experience, preferably in the commercial insurance industry or a related field.
Education: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
Skills:
o Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
o Ability to translate complex insurance concepts into clear, concise, and engaging content.
o Excellent research and analytical skills.
o Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in the commercial insurance industry.
Familiarity with digital marketing strategies and tools.
Experience with content strategy development and execution.
