Location: Columbus, Ohio

Job Type: Contract

Compensation Range: $35 - 40 per hour

We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Content Strategist to join our client's dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and executing content strategies that enhance user experience, align with business objectives, and meet platform requirements. You’ll collaborate closely with design teams, leveraging data and creative insights to deliver high-quality content solutions that drive engagement and consistency across our client's platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Implement content strategies and solutions that align with best practices and meet project/platform requirements, including business and customer goals, controls, and deadlines.
• Set and communicate quality standards within the Design team through creative direction and critique.
• Lead the structural design of platform and product experiences, including navigation, labeling, and flow.
• Develop metadata to support search, browse, navigation, and data metrics beyond the product and platform.
• Provide content components, such as UI language and product education, across the CRM platform.
• Leverage and contribute to various data sources (research findings, analytics) to identify and resolve user problems, as well as measure impact.
• Utilize and actively contribute to content systems, including standards, voice and tone, messaging, and accessibility libraries.
• Present work and explain content decisions to senior design leadership.
• Lead adherence to content governance and the approvals process.
• Work with the company-wide content design team to enhance UX and ensure consistency across all channels and experiences.

Qualifications:

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 3 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors
• Proven experience in content strategy, particularly in creating content solutions that align with business objectives and platform requirements.
• Strong understanding of UX design principles and how content plays a role in enhancing user experiences.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and justify content decisions to senior leadership.
• Proficiency in leveraging data to inform content strategy and measure its impact.
• Familiarity with content systems, including standards, voice and tone, messaging, and accessibility.
• Ability to lead structural design efforts, including navigation, labeling, and content flow.
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams.
