The Clinical Nurse Educator Emergency Department role and responsibilities include providing training and supervision in practice, collaborating with nurse managers to identify education preparation needs, establishing policies and procedures for best practice, developing programs to address needs/requirements, working with other educators to developed educational activities, and assisting with orientation and on boarding of new employees. Top applicants will have previous Emergency Department experience, Masters in Nursing Education, specialty certifications, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
