*This position qualifies for the NANA Worley Candidate Referral Program, available only to existing NANA Worley employees* The Civil/Structural Designer position applies engineering principles to design, modify or develop facilities, testing, machines, equipment, or processes used in processing or manufacturing products by performing the duties contained in this document. This position is intended for execution from the NANA Worley offices in Anchorage, Alaska, USA. Hybrid remote-office locations may be considered. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Math Ability: Math skills sufficient to: Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Compute rate, ratio, and percent. Draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interpret an extensive variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and current versions of AutoCAD design software.
