Job Description

Gallup is accepting applications from Tuesday, Sept. 3, through Friday, Nov. 1, 2024. We strongly recommend early applications for priority consideration.

Uncover insights and trends that help others win and business grow.

At Gallup, you're more than just an intern. You're a genuine part of our team, our culture and the impact we make on the world. As part of our growth enablement team, you will get hands-on experience to lead real projects, 1-1 mentoring, and endless opportunities to learn and grow as you provide data-driven insights, solve problems and uncover opportunities to help grow our business.

In this role, you will analyze multiple layers of data through Gallup's CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system and observe processes across key business development teams. You will uncover actionable insights; streamline processes; and help key partners build a pipeline of growth, accelerate deals and engage more clients. We have a mission to help our clients sustain and grow thriving businesses, and you will help us accomplish that goal.

If you have what it takes to contribute to growth momentum, implement process improvements, coordinate people, and manage projects and ideas to fruition, APPLY TODAY!

Who we want:

Data-obsessed analysts who help us see the big picture by analyzing key metrics and trends for decision-making and recommendations that enhance business growth and who dig deeper to lead projects and people to new ideas and possibilities

Organized overachievers who are energetic, self-motivated and highly driven to exceed expectations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, high-pressure environment

Continual learners who are intellectually curious and who have a passion for business, process improvement, data and analytics

Dedicated multitaskers who can manage multiple projects with extreme detail orientation, orchestrate people and teams, and adjust to accommodate unexpected changes

Relationship-focused partners who have a reputation for working well with others and building trust with cross-matrixed teams across the organization

Strategic thinkers who study and understand Gallup's business and who can turn analytics into a framework focused on improving business outcomes that move people to action

Resourceful problem solvers who can anticipate, troubleshoot and resolve problems and create systems for efficiency

What you need:
  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate school program at a college or university within a 250-mile radius of Omaha, Nebraska, and working toward a degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field required; 2026 and 2027 graduates preferred
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week for 12 weeks during the summer in Omaha required; must be available to work Monday-Thursday in our Omaha Riverfront office, with the option to work remotely on Fridays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with business intelligence (BI) software preferred
  • Eligibility to work in the United States required; this position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship
What we offer:

We create exceptional workplaces, starting with our own. We focus on developing your strengths - what you do right, rather than what you do wrong - and helping you be engaged at work. As an intern at Gallup, you'll benefit from:
  • The opportunity to work with some of the best coworkers you'll ever meet and the potential to work during the school year with proven performance
  • A global marketing team that will enrich your working experience through best friends at work and a focus on thriving wellbeing
  • Individualized projects based on your areas of interest and expertise
  • A strengths-based culture with world-class managers and highly tenured mentors who guide and empower associates based on their unique skills and strengths
  • A collaborative, diverse and hybrid work environment that embraces flexibility within a framework
  • Ongoing learning and development opportunities
  • A beautiful downtown Omaha office on the Missouri River, equipped with a cafeteria, workout facility and contemporary workspaces
  • Mission-driven work that changes the lives of people around the world
  • A potential full-time job offer upon graduation
  • A full-time internship that pays $20/hour
And the perks don't stop there. To learn more about working at our Omaha Riverfront location, click here.
